These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website layersandplatters.com (the "Site") and the purchase of products from Layers, operated by Lab Hub Catering Services L.L.C ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing the Site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

About us

Layers is a brand owned and operated by Lab Hub Catering Services L.L.C, a company duly registered in the United Arab Emirates under Trade License 1372770, with its registered address at Al Ttay Warehouses, Shed 5, Al Khawaneej 2, Dubai, UAE.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into legally binding contracts to place an order on this Site.

Products

We make every effort to display product descriptions, ingredients, and images accurately. However, slight variations in finished products may occur due to the handmade and small-batch nature of our pâtisserie. Colors may also appear differently across screens.

Orders and pre-order model

By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into a binding contract, that the information you have provided is accurate, and that you (or someone you have authorized) will be available to receive delivery at the address provided.

All products are made to order in our Dubai kitchen. Orders placed before 2pm GST are delivered the next operating day. Orders placed after 2pm are delivered the day after. We operate Monday to Saturday; Sundays are closed. UAE public holidays, Ramadan, and Eid may affect delivery timing — changes will be communicated in advance.

Once production begins (2pm on the day of the order), the order cannot be cancelled. Please see our Refund Policy for full terms.

We reserve the right to refuse any order at our sole discretion, including but not limited to: orders flagged for suspected fraud, orders placed outside our delivery area, or orders that cannot be fulfilled due to ingredient availability.

All prices listed are in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include 5% VAT where applicable. A tax invoice will be provided with each order.

Pricing and payment

All prices are listed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and include 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) where applicable. We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is required in full at the time of order placement.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, pricing errors, or product unavailability. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.

Delivery

Delivery is governed by our Shipping & Delivery policy. By placing an order, you agree to those terms.

Returns and refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. By placing an order, you agree to those terms.

Allergens

Our products contain or may contain various allergens, including dairy, eggs, gluten, almonds, hazelnuts, pistachios, sesame, and other tree nuts. Each product page lists its specific allergens. Our kitchen handles multiple allergens simultaneously, and traces of any of these may be present in any product. If you have a severe food allergy, please contact us before placing an order.

Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, images, photography, logos, graphics, product designs, recipes, and the Layers brand identity — is the property of Lab Hub Catering Services L.L.C and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our content without our prior written permission.

User accounts

If you create an account on the Site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

Prohibited use

You may not use this Site or our products for any unlawful purpose, to harass others, to introduce malicious code, to infringe on intellectual property, or to interfere with the security or operation of the Site.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Lab Hub Catering Services L.L.C shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site or our products. Our total liability for any single claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the order in question.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Lab Hub Catering Services L.L.C, its directors, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The updated version will be effective immediately upon posting on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
